Adventure Horizons is committed to providing exceptional travel experiences. We understand that plans may change, and this Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds will be granted for our tours and services. - General Refund Policy
2.1 Refund eligibility depends on the type of tour booked and the time of cancellation.
2.2 Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@adventurehorizons.africa. - Free Walking Tours
3.1 Our Free Walking Tours operate on a pay-what-you-want basis and are non-refundable.
3.2 If you pre-booked and made a donation, cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance may be eligible for a full refund. - Day Tours & City Tours (e.g., Full Day Harare Tour, Mbare Tour, African Markets Tour)
4.1 Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the tour date: Full refund.
4.2 Cancellations made between 24-48 hours before the tour date: No refund. - Cultural & Special Interest Tours (e.g., Village Tour, School Tours, Architecture & Tourism Student Tours)
5.1 Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the tour date: Full refund.
5.2 Cancellations made between 48-72 hours before the tour date: 50% refund.
5.3 Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour date: No refund. - Multi-Day & Customized Tours
6.1 Cancellations made 7 days or more before the tour start date: Full refund minus non-refundable deposits (if applicable).
6.2 Cancellations made between 3-6 days before the tour start date: 50% refund.
6.3 Cancellations made less than 3 days before the tour start date: No refund. - No-Show Policy
7.1 If a customer fails to show up for a scheduled tour without prior notice, no refund will be issued. - Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances
8.1 If a tour is canceled by Adventure Horizons due to extreme weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances, customers will be offered the option of rescheduling or receiving a full refund. - Refund Processing
9.1 Approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days.
